My Story

My Scentsy Story began in November of 2009 when my friend Kristin signed up to sell Scentsy.  I was so super excited for her because I loved the Scentsy product and loved knowing I would be helping out my friend by buying from her as my consultant.  As soon as she had catalogs and scents I took them into our break room at work and started selling to all our friends and co-workers.  I was so excited to be helping my best friend earn extra money to make her car payment.  As I was telling everybody all about the product, the combine and save packages, and the wickless awesomeness, my friends continued to ask me why I didn’t just sign up to sell Scentsy. My answer was, “I don’t do direct sales.”  You see, I’ve tried 2 other direct sales companies in the past.  I’d heard the success stories and I wanted to be just like those people.  When I couldn’t do it on my first try, I gave up.  Finally, in February of 2010, my friend Beth talked me into selling Scentsy and she didn’t even sell it!  I think Beth explained it best when she put it like this, “Scentsy’s products are different.  Everybody needs a starter kit to begin with and that’s not very expensive.  Then, the wax refills are really cheap.  Anybody can afford Scentsy, everybody loves candles, and your customer base is unlimited.”  With that, she convinced me.  This really was something I thought I could do.  I signed up on February 12, 2010 and have been full speed ahead ever since.  Why do I sell Scentsy?  When I was growing up, the only thing I could think I ever wanted to be was a mom.  I now have 5 children, Trinity, Thomas, Evelyn, Ezra, and Finn.  I have always wanted to be able to stay at home and be here for my children.  But, I am also too independent and in the words of my oldest daughter, “like to spend money too much.” Scentsy showed me an open door to the opportunity of having both.  I can be a working mom, send my children to private school, and still be at home readily available for when they need me.  If I can do this, you can do this too!  What are you waiting for?  Sign up now and let me help you build your Scentsy Success Story!
